kitna paagal hai yeh dil,
hawa main tumhara pegham dhoondta hai,

is jaga me tumhara nishan dhoondta hai,
aasman me tumhara naam dhoondta hai,

sitaare magar kuch batlate nahin,
nazaare bhi kuch dekhate nahin,

jhonke bhi kuch batate nahin,
yeh ishaare dil ko samjhate nahin,

virane main tumhara yeh saath dhoondta hai,
par... aawaz tak tum lagate nahin.
